Yoga helps relieve tension that builds up in your muscles as a result of negative thoughts in your head. It also teaches you to focus and deep breathing will naturally calm yourself down. I totally agree with your sentiments finding natural solutions to physical ailments is always going to be better than a chemical one.
It’s too bad that more people dont learn and master these coping techniques like you have. The meds have so many bad side effects that it makes sense to avoid them if you can.
natural ways only work for a very few people. They do not work for VERY sick people. An aspirin won’t fix a broken leg.
