Paxil and Wellbutrin are among the best as my friend-pharmacist tells! He has been working for http://www.pharmacynextdoor.com for a while and says most of the elderly people order wellbutrin and according to them it does help better than old generation Prozac or Lexapro.
It sounds like you’ve run the gamit when it comes to medications, and there are a few out there that can do some real good. However, I want to remind you that there is no Cure All medication. For this type of thing, I woud recommend getting stabalized on a good medication that you like, and attending therapy or some kind of cognitive behavioral therapy group. These in conjunction with meds will help more than you realize.
drink a beer before going out , thats what my brother does. or try and deal with it in a healthy way, breathe when feeling aniexty, its healthier then depending on pills for happiness
I can’t answer this question only a doctor will be able to do that. Each of us acts differently to different medications which is why they suit some people and not others. All the best.
Buspar is good for social anxiety.
i would talk to he doctor about taking diazepam or celexa. maybe lorazepam.
Why don’t you try natural methods, instead . . . ?

There is no medication that works for this type of disorder. You have been on so many drugs and not got it yet? I know it is hard to believe but you have to trust yourself. They don’t make Paxil any more. I suggest you work on it from more than a chemical point of veiw. Are you seeing a therapist? Yoga has shown to work really well when combined with Prozac, and a good massage as well. Proper sleep is also essential; do you have any sleep disorders? Address them as well, and try to get to bed a half hour to an hour earlier.
Your doctor should be helping you with this. IF he is just throwing pills at you, find a new doctor you can talk to who will address your concerns.
