I have a 2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and she has separation anxiety, BAD! She bites at your ankles and scratches and barks at the after you leave. The door is so scratched up.

I had the exact same problem with my Yorkshire Terrier, i went and bought another dog and he never had the separation anxiety again, because I got the other pup so they became best friends and they never get lonely at all, they play together.
I would try crate training. When we first got my dog, she had separation anxiety, so we crate trained her. We also got some stuff from Walmart that’s made with herbs for separation anxiety and after a couple of days, she calmed down quite a bit. Now that we’ve had her over a year, she doesn’t require the crate anymore when we leave, she’s learned that we’re always going to come back.
