I just started taking Xanax a few months ago; I’m not sure what the dose is, I’d have to look at the bottle.
Edit: okay, my dose is 0.5 mg twice a day. My doctor started me on this in February, I also take Paxil 20 mg once a day (I’ve taken that for about 15 years now).
Yes, people with anxiety disorders tend to worry a lot. That’s part of the disorder.
The smallest dosage of xanax you can get is 0.25mg’s. They should not be taken everyday especially XANAX. Try something else for your anxiety but not xanax it will bring you more problems than you’ve got now! And yes having an anxiety disorder means that worrying alot is normal! Some people have anxiety disorders but aren’t worriers but most like me and you are.
The minimum dose of Xanax is 0.25mg. It is a good medication, but it can be abused and overused VERY easily. Xanax isn’t for everyday use. It is for those times when you get very anxious and you need something to calm you down. Second, yes, being worried a lot can be because of an anxiety disorder. Try talking to your family doctor about the way you feel, and see if he can recommend a psychiatrist for you. Good luck!
