What ever you do stay away from anti anxiety medication such as Xanax and Ativan they are high addictive. Some treatments include talk therapy, yoga, and lifting weights. There are numerous breathing techniques that were developed to cope with anxiety. It could be an chemical in balance where medications can help yet still do not use the benzo meds they are not worth their highly addictive chemical make up. Good luck.

Mulungu Bark has been used by people in South America for anxiety. Its a bark that is boiled to make a tea. It actually has a very pleasant taste. All the scientific tests that I can find articles on are mice but, seem to conclude that the alkaloids contained in Mulungu have an anxiolytic effect.
