I find that my thinking has become more obsessive/compulsive in nature and was wondering what medication is out there to keep my thinking in check. What are the possible side effects? How does it interact with other medications?

Here is what I know. The person is suffering from depression, has isolated themselves from friends/family and sent the therapist a note indicated she wanted to die and she appreciated all her help. What is the next course of action?
They were on medications but stopped taking them.

When I have a panic attack, I then get depressed over what made me have the panic attack, such as the fear of losing a loved one. I take medications, but this still happens, although not as often or as severe as before. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problems, and what they do to help with this problem.

I suffer from occasional heart palpitations but this morning it was really bad. I am planning on going to the doctor but maybe someone has some insight on what it could be. And how do you deal with that.
I don’t take any medications. Don’t drink or smoke. Overall a healthy person.

Does it increase appetite? Decrease activity? Some type of chemical reaction?
I’m taking these medications but I don’t want to gain weight. That’s pone of the reasons why I am depressed in the first place.

I’ve been on some medications in the past, none of them cured me only made things a little bit more managable and I was curious if anyone had a great success with any.
Its a medical problem for me, it has nothing to do with "stress" or "worry", I’ve had the condition for the past 12 years or so. Sometimes it seems worse than others and I can get by with out Meds, but unfortunalty now I’m in a bad time.

I am bipolar 2 and choose not to take the medications because of the way they make me feel. I am a single mother of 4 kids and here recently the stresses of day to day life have been getting me down. I am very depressed, but want to find other ways that I can cope without meds because when I do take them I have horrible side effects. The side effects alone prevent me from taking care of my kids like they should be taken care of. So I am looking for alternatives to the meds.

Well I have been diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder myself it hit me in my early 20′s im still finding the right meds. for me….but Ive noticed my daughter has had extreme signs starting around 5?…now shes almost 11yrs.old…I thought about sending her to the psychiatrist but havnt really pushed the issue with my parents because of the fact that they are practically the caretakers of her & my dad is so against taking medications for disorders etc. He keeps denying that my daughter has a disorder which me,my mom, teachers etc..all agree with me,that we should take her to see a doctor!

Ive been taking Lexapro and Kolonopin and have been feeling more tired than usual. I wake up groggy and Coffee and energy drinks wear off and I get tired and sleepy way earlier. Are the medications the reason behind this since it started when i began taking them. I try to eat as healthy as possible. What can i do to feel more energized and stronger?
I only take one of each every night before bed.

soo the past 2 weeks iv been gettin really stressed, and seem to have anxiety problems.
I get a tight feeling in my stomach, even when i have nothing to be stressed about, and i feel all shaky and weak. And just horrible. I get that nervious/butterflys in my stomach feeling, and even start acting weird and start twitching, and theres nothing to worry about??
I have a.d.d. Attention defficet disorder, and hear a.d.d. makes a person feel stress, and get irritated really easy, but i havent been feeling like this lately, and i take my medcine and it goes away for like 1-1 1/2 hour, and im all chill n feel good.
So what im asking is..
Are there any medications, and do i have some kind of disorder?? what disorder does it sound like??
Mayb im not taking the right medication, couse iv tried almost all the a.d.d. med’s and they etheir work for an 1- 1 1/2 hour, or dont work at all unless i use more then im supposed to, even then they dont work vary long, but vyvance did, but it was too high of a dose that the docter wouldent let me, even though knew it was working..
Thanks…

I am 16 and have many weird fears and lots of anxiety about normal things. I don’t want to speak to my parents about getting on medications because I am already taking quite a few expensive ones, so is there anything I can do as an alternative?

What are some side effects of stopping say 3 or 4 anti depressive and anxiety medication suddenly? I think it’s been about 3 weeks, and all the medications are out of my system. I’m feeling very odd, but don’t know how much of it is the withdrawal, and how much is other.
