Natural treatment for anxiety symptoms and panic attacks.
I have just presctibed Lexapro for anxiety attacks, and wanted to know if there were any side effects that I should be aware of.
Is 20mg of Lexapro per day a lot or not much as far as antidepressants go?
I have been on Lexapro for awhile now and I want to stop taking it. I know I should stop it slowly, so I wanted to know what the best way to do this is.
I take 1 10g pill a day, I was going to start taking a half for 2 weeks then do a 1/4 for 2 weeks, then stop. Ideas?
It usually takes 3 adderalls for me to feel something and im currently taking 1 pill of lexapro but it doesnt do anything. I’m just wondering how much i have to take until it feels like 3 pills of adderall.

I was previously on Paxil and gained a lot of weight and the sexual side effects were bad.

I was on 150 mg of effexor and am down to 50 mg now. My psychiatrist wants me to start lexapro and keep weaning off effexor. I fear meds and fear serotonin syndrome.
I started taking Lexapro about a week and a half ago, and I continually get bad migraines daily. I called the doctor and she wants me to continue it for the full 3 weeks to see if it helps my mood. My question is, is this a situation for anyone else, and do the headaches eventually go away?
I have been on lexapro for approximately 4 years. I am attempting to taper my dosage, and eventually get off the medication. I am hoping to loose the sexual side effects. Has anyone noticed a reduction in this from lowering the dosage? Also, how long after you are completely off the medication do these side effects go away?
I started Lexapro recently, which states that it can take 4-6 weeks to take effect. My question is if I stop taking this medication for a few days to get it out of my system but I begin taking it again in a week or two, will it once again take 4-6 weeks for me to feel the effects and for it to work properly again? When I first started it took 3 weeks for me to feel it working.
I dont know if its from what has happened in my life but i just can not feel deeply bout things like i use to. I feel that i dont have that deep love for my family or anyone. I always feel like I’m withdrawn. I dont know if its from the lexapro or what.
I was diagnosed with panic disorder a few years ago. I started out on Effexor XR. While it was excellent in keeping the anxiety and panic attacks at bay, the side effects were unbearable. My doctor switched me over to Lexapro, which worked at first, but now does nothing for me. I even started taking 20 mg as opposed to the 10 mg I was prescribed. I have an appointment with my doctor next week and I wanted to get a general idea of the best medications out there.
I went to the doctors today because i have some prety bad anxiety and he suggested to start with 20mg lexapro once a day and take .5mg xanax as needed. i read posts online and most people said they started of with 10mg lexapro. my question is, is it fine to start off with 20mg lexapro? please help!

I was taking Lexapro but haven’t gotten my prescription refilled. I was taking 10 milligrams a day. I have been feeling sick the past couple days. Could that be a side effect of my anxiety coming back and also a side effect from stoping the medication suddenly?
