Seeing a psychiatrist for anxiety/panic attacks?

I’m going to see a psychiatrist because of anxiety and panic attacks for the first time.
My question:-
Will I have to go through an interview with questions unrelated to my condition?
What does he expect me to talk about?
Thanks.

I just saw one today for anxiety.. They ask you about your life, family, your symptoms, what you want to accomplish in life, the list goes on… Just be open and honest, hes there to help not to judge you.. He gave me a true and false questionaire that im going to do and turn back in when i see him again..
Well I went to a psychiatrist because I thought I was bi-polar and the psychiatrist thought i was going threw depression. Yea you are asked ALOT of questions.. but it helps you cope with things alot better.
He’ll ask you questions if it’s an evaluation about your home life and stuff that has happened in your past to determine what’s going on with you.
And be truthful with him.
You will be asked questions about your life present and past. You will probably be asked about your family, your thoughts and many other things.Be honest because all the questions are related to your conditions in someway.
