My doctor just prescribed Lexapro for me and I'm concerned about weight gain and sexual side effects.?

I was previously on Paxil and gained a lot of weight and the sexual side effects were bad.
I will be taking the Lexapro to help control my GAD. Has anyone had a bad experience while on Lexapro? Were any of the listed side effects more severe then stated?

I took Lexapro for a short time. I didn’t have weight gain (or loss) - but I DID have the sexual side effects. Most antidepressants/antianxiety meds do. You can ask your Doc if he/she is aware of any that DONT.
