Is this a seasonal affective disorder problem?
ok about 3 years ago i had severe seasonal affective disorder but i havent had it since. it happened when the weather got colder and the sun wasnt out as much. i havent got it this year yet but everytime i go in my basement i got extremely irritated and nervous and just feel like i got the disorder again but once i leave my basement i feel so much better. my basement is pretty dark place so i dont know if it is or not. thanks for any help

make sure you put lights on when entering your basement.
also, vitamin D is suppose to help with this syndrome, don’t take more than the recommended dosage on the bottle
Could be, but I’m reluctant to say yes. I would have high intensity bulbs in the basement if I were you. I did this: using 250 / 500 W light bulbs and I no longer feel any light effects. In winter time, my mood goes a little low and over the years I have managed to control this by having more light. I also stay out as much as I can in the light. I think, although I may be wrong, but there is some form of accumulative effect of spending more time ion the light. It seems to add up and reduces the effect of any time I spend in the relatively less lit places. Try it, it may help you. Best wishes.
