I have been feeling sick and anxious lately. I stopped Lexapro cold turkey. Could that be the reason?

Uh yeah. You aren’t supposed to stop meds like that cold turkey, you and your doctor are supposed to do a step down program. Your symptoms may get worse before they get better.
Yes definately, you should never stop taking a medication like that cold turkey. Your doctor put you on it for a reason, and you should never stop taking it unless your doctor says it is okay and then they will taper you off so it is safe. Start taking the medication again, and call your doctor as soon as possible. Trust me I am a therapist and I know you should never stop taking psych meds like that.
Yes, that could be a very good reason. You can not stop taking this medication cold turkey, it can make you feel worse than when you were taking it. If you stopped recently, (like the last day or so), then start taking it again. If it’s been over a week, call your doctor and see what he/she suggests you do. They may change it to something else.
