Some can make anxiety worse as well but both may go away after your body adjusts to the medication. I have a good antidepressant for you to try that I was on & you take it night because it helps you sleep & it worked wonders for my anxiety & didn't seem to cause stomach upset. It's called Remeron (brand name & there is a generic). I can't remember if it is an SSRI medication but you could ask your Doctor. I did notice weight gain & a little bit of a "pill hangover" in the morning but you have to understand, they all have some side effects.
