Hello Sara

Hypnosis would work well for this issue, maybe find an analytical hypnotherapist.

Individuals can be covered by insurance, in some countries it isn't a legal requirement.

How much it costs - is like asking how long a piece of string is, that depends on where you are & who you visit.

I tried hypnotherapy. I am on disability and medicare and medicaid was not accepted, in fact I don't think that place even took insurance. So check with them to see if insurance is accepted and is your insurance carrier covered, the cost for me was like 80-90 bucks a session. It didn't even help the situation, you have to listen to the CD they make like every day.. sometimes a few times a day....... and it is like 30-45 minutes long..... I might be a good answer to your situation, but since you didn't even explain your fear it is hard to say.

First, i wouldn't expect that to be covered by any insurance. Don't know what the cost is, though. Maybe you could try to deal something to one you find? I do suggest that you make some research to find someone who's been vouched for by others.

Whatsoever, I think it would be worth the try, especially considering that you're tried pretty much everything else; The potential here is that you could fix your problem at the source, instead of the symptoms.

Good luck!

You have two options:

Hypnotherapy will work but it probably won't be covered by your insurance provider. I think hypnotherapy will be much faster than your second option.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: You can find a good psychologist and ask him/her to help you. They will give you meds (you knew that) they will also help you to face your phobia. Some even have little virtual reality helmets that you can use to face your fear (eventually).

The first option is probably the best one in your situation. Hope that helps :)
