I was wondering what is required to become a physical therapists. For example degrees, internships, licenses etc. Also is there some colleges that have better than normal programs for physical therapy?

In the US, it requires graduation from an accredited program that culminates in a master’s or doctorate degree. Most programs are competitive entry, meaning you complete a set of predetermined prerequisite courses and then apply for admission to a program. Not all qualified applicants will be accepted. There are usually several internships associated with the professional phase of the program which are usually unpaid and are arranged by the school as part of your educational program. After graduation, you will sit for a national licensure exam.
I would suggest going to the APTA website at: http://www.apta.org and go to the education section for a list of accredited programs by state.
