So, I have been having this awful problem for the past two years about something completely stupid, but it’s about the word "ok". For some odd reason, when a teacher says the word "ok" a lot, I freak out and have a massive panic attacks I have to take medication for. I hate this, and want it to end. Please help me!

If you see a therapist about this problem, they’ll determine if you need help or if you’re okay.
hahahahahahahahahah OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK
I doubt its just he word that bother you but the thoughts attached to it when you hear it. Reframe them.
Hmm,this is something new. Well,if I were you,I would just talk to your teacher about it and tell him/her about your problem. Maybe they will then stop using the "O" word. It could never hurt to ask. I wish the best to you.
You need to confront your fear systematically. You cant hear the word "Ok"? You need to start by say being in the same room as a picture of the word OK, or by looking at the word "OK".Since you can type it I assume you can stare at the word. From here you work upwards, and as you become more comfortable at each step, you expose yourself to more. Until eventually you find yourself listening to tapes of the word ok. It is called counter conditioning or desensitisation. behavioural cognitive therapy will see you conquer your fear, but only if your determined. Talk to your counsellor or psychiatrist and they will help you out!
That one word would trigger a panic attack is unusual but not unheard. You take an anti anxiety drug for this? on a daily basis? lots of "Q’s" Wish I knew a little more detail. First to help your going to have to reflect on the events two years ago when this word started to have such a negative influence on your life. At that time period did you suffer a physical, emotional or mental trauma or crises? And you told yourself or another it’s ok over and over again when in fact it wasn’t? The word –can be used in several ways it can be a confirmation or as your teacher probably uses it as a enforcer that you understand the issue or instruction You only mention the teacher repetitive use of that word freaks you out how about other adults? if they are repetitive with that word do you freak out? The word — may covey to you a challenge which you wish to avoid. I know self analyzing is a difficult task but in order for you to tackle your aversion to this word you need to dig deep. This is not a stupid thing don’t think of it so but when used especially in a repetitive matter you have a emotional reaction. I believe there is much you haven’t shared in your "Q" that’s alright. But if your taking a prescription drug you need to delve into this with your doctor much more, I know it may sound cliche but see a mental health profession. It’s alright to do so. I hope my answer has been helpful. Best of luck tt you
