People who tease are usually just mirroring their insecurities onto other people.
To be honest, having as little contact as possible is probably a good idea.
Body language is a great way to show your not going to let her bother you.
Sit up straight, hold your hands together.
Don't cross your arms, hold your head high, cross your legs. etc.
Maybe just try being super nice and when/if she makes a comment, act like she didn't.

Realize that your cousin in which you are intimidated with is a human being too with insecurities, problems, flaws, etc. She is not perfect and doesn't expect you to be either. You have to believe in yourself more and not consider her superior to you for any reason. You are just as worthy to be on this planet as anyone else, and you should embrace that.

Understand that despite the anxiety, she is your cousin for a reason, and you would be doing the right thing if you stepped on your irrational fears and simply talked to her. If she's ignorant to you, that's her own issue and you shouldn't get involved with her. Believe it or not, she might be intimidated by YOU just as you are with her. Relax and try to be comfortable in your own skin around her. The more you do, the more comfortable you'll feel. You have nothing to lose but your own anxiety. Accept that she's your cousin and if she can't get along with you, work around it in your own confident space. Things will work out in time.

Best of luck.

I know how you feel it must be terrible for you. For me I will stay away from that person and avoid maybe talking to him/her. If not just get help from family members.
