How can I stop crying when I panic?

Everytime I panic I usually cry and I can’t help it.
For example, today I lost my school planner and was so freaked I started crying when I was speaking to my teacher. Since it was stupid and pathetic of me crying over a school planner I had to lie and said it had personal/ family stuff in it.
Help?
Thanks.

It can be achieved by periodic and repeated attempt by yourself.Persuade yourself to be strong enough to control tears.Think of Rajiv Gandhi who did not weep for the death of his mother Indira Gandhi.
first think about the reason for crying.
use the time you are crying for something useful and if you feel the tears coming calm yourself (a smack on the cheek works)
take deep breaths
