Panic attack is a threatening health condition that if not prevented and attended right away would cause a development of a more serious problem. It can make you lose control of yourself permanently, or worse, it can be deadly.
So taking the right precautions and treatment is a must after recognizing the nature of this condition. Here are some suggestions that can help you in overcoming panic attack:
1:Watch Your Health – Panic attack is a result of not taking care of your health. Your mind and body need proper supplement to function properly.
2:Make some preparations ahead – Now that you recognized the symptoms of this anxiety disorder, to deal with them, you must prepare yourself ahead of time.
3:Be kind to yourself – Anxiety disorder is also the result of not taking care of yourself. Don’t be too hard with yourself and take some time-off.
Do follow a exercise routine that will calm ya mind and body like meditation and relaxing technics.
If you really want to stop worry now then you have to commit to practicing your chosen technique until it becomes a habit. Practicing when you are not in a stressed situation will ingrain the new technique so that when the situation arises to use it, the new pattern will emerge automatically

i am the same way. i have been trying to cure it.
1. Really think about what is making you panic. maybe it might be a animal or ect. why does it make you panic.
-By REMEMBERING that WHAT You’re feeling when you have Them- is NOT based in Reality. They’re "Emotional" disturbances. Try to get a GRIP on THAT concept… -& MAYBE you will be able to get Control over your Problem. Try it- & good luck !
Are you positive that’s what it is? I was told I was having panic attacks when I was actually
hypoglycemic. They put me on meds too that didn’t help. I kept complaining and they decided to
do a blood sugar test. It was very erratic. (Just my experience, may not be yours)
The only thing that helped me was to go to mass ~everyday, every single day
Yes, many people have. I have used Buddhist practices myself. Along with breathing techniques that sound really stupid, but in practice actually seem to work.
Yes but it requires a lot of stress management and it is not easy. I was originally prescribed Ativan (a tranquilizer) as needed for panic attacks but after an overdose I wasn’t really trusted with it anymore. You need to identify what sets you off–is it a phobia, certain situations, etc. If you can’t seem to find any kind of trigger you may have an underlying anxiety disorder that would require treatment. To control your stress it is important that you take relaxation time for yourself even though you may be very busy. Daily meditation helped me in this area as well as athletics. I took up tennis and found that smacking a ball around can be very helpful after a stressful day plus exercise releases endorphins. Long baths may be helpful as well and you can even find aromatherapy bath salts for stress relief.
If you try these things and still find absolutely no relief there are therapists that specialize in anxiety disorders such as phobias and panic attacks that may be worth your while. I have seen one once but decided not to continue therapy (I used to have a very bad attitude about therapy) so I can’t tell you exactly what that person would do to help you.
With meditation, athletics, and aromatherapy I have found relief from my panic attacks, even throughout college. I still suffer from anxiety but not to the point where I have a full swing panic attack. I hope something that I suggested works for you because not having to deal with panic attacks anymore is a wonderful feeling that I hope you can experience in the near future.

Hi, I went through a relationship break-up a while ago and developed panic attacks which I had never had before. I had chest pain, shortness of breath, numbness, shivers, and couldn’t think straight. Thankfully, as they say, time is a great healer, and I’m doing OK now. I got by with various types of help, discussing things with my friends ("offloading" as they call it!), and help from a site recommended to me by a close friend – http://www.myselect.info/. Talk to people, and have a look at this site – hope you get well soon.
