What happens during a psychiatric evaluation for bipolar disorder?

So a few days ago, I found out from my therapist that I might be bipolar (apparently going 3 days with no sleep is a little alarming…) and she told me that a psychologist will have to evaluate me to get a correct diagnosis. I was wondering what will happen in the evaluation. I am a teenager. Thanks!

Can gas or gas bubbles cause heart palpitations?

My husband has heart palpitations but he sometimes has more than he should and he was wondering if having gas or gas bubbles would cause him to have them more often since the gas moves in the chest. He says his chest will hurt and sometimes feels like shoulder pain and he says that sometimes it even feels like pain in the chest but he will notice that his heart is skipping more when he has gas or bubbles in his stomach and chest. I told him to see the doc but he doesn’t want to mostly because i think he is scared that something could be wrong.

Is it normal to have panic attacks during Tax Season?

I have a friend who every year around tax time has panic attacks. She never owes any money and always gets money back. But for some reason she always has panic attacks around tax time with head aches. Does anybody else have this problem? Is it normal? Does anybody know anybody else that deals with this?

Both my grandfather and uncle are bipolar, and I was wondering how that would effect the chances of any children I may have with getting the bipolar disorder.
It’s my father’s father, and his brother who is bipolar. My cousin also is bipolar, and we have suspicions that my other uncle is bipolar too (all on my dad’s side). Neither of my parents are bipolar though.

Okay so I have bulimia(have been diagnosed with it) And I really want to lose weight ( I’m 5’11", 187, 15 yr old girl) but every time I try I always relapse into my eating disorder habits. (eating 700 kcal a day, bingeing, ect.) is there anything I can do to lose weight but not be triggered back into my eating disorder?

I recently learned that synesthesia can be induced by hypnosis. I’ve found many websites that say it’s possible, but can’t find a script for what to say during the hypnosis. The kind that I would want to induce is text and numbers as color and sound as color, but any script for inducing any type of synesthesia would do fine and would be greatly appreciated.

I lost a lot of weight by eating very little and exercising too much I went from 175 pounds to 95 pounds. I think I develop an eating disorder I would be completely obsessed with food and I have not had my period for about 8 months now.Recently I have been binge eating and then restricting my calories to 700 a day. I want to be healthy again but i am afraid of gaining so much weight that ill be overweight again.how can i maintain my weight with out gaining alot?

I recently turned 20, and have been suffering with an eating disorder for several years now. I currently am 5’7 and weigh 85lbs. My parents think my low weight is due to a stomach problem.
