Does light therapy work for Seasonal Affective Disorder?

Does anyone know if this blue technology, bule light therapy works? Have you heard anything about it or tried it?

sunlight is nessasary for Vit d, mood and seratonin.
Which translates to nicer skin, better sleep and happier mood. This blue light therapy suppliments that when the natural stuff is not as available.
Multiple studies have been done on this subject, including placebo controlled trials. Yes, based on the studies, phototherapy (light) does improve depression in seasonal affective dysorder. Now, the more important question is…does this disease truly exist, separate from depression, or is it a type of depression. Genetically, it seems to be different, which is why many people with SAD don’t seem to respond to medication the way others do.
