Yes, I absolutely hate it when the daylight hours become fewer and fewer and the weather gets colder. The nights have been getting more chilly and the leaves are starting to turn colors, but I definitely felt a lot better after the random 88-degree day we had last weekend.

I found some good ideas for dealing with the shift to colder weather on this blog, maybe you'll find one of the tips to be helpful for your SAD.

I got four of the compact fluorescent bulbs from www.bulbtown.com that put out "daylight". I got the highest wattage bulbs they have, and I have all four in the ceiling of my room with the computer. It does make the room bright - but it helps a lot with the effects of SAD.

I have had it and it is no fun... #1 Get out of the house and get in the sun.. #2 if you live up North (Michigan, Wisconsin, Canada) buy a "Full Spectrum Light" There is also a book called "The Winter Blues" I don't remember the author, but it is very good. or do like I did...Move to Florida.

I think everyone does, to a degree.
You should be feeling different already. Fall's here. I feel different as well. I don't dislike it, but enjoy the somberness of life as the reality of the temporal nature of earth is manifest. Hearing leaves crunch under your feet should be as much of a reminder as new spring buds that life is a cycle and goes on. Kinda sad, mostly happy.
