If you want really bright, vivid color, you might want to bleach your hair to a lighter blond. If you do that, wait a couple of weeks before putting the Manic Panic color in.
It would depend on how bright you want the red to be.
I have medium to dark brown hair and I use the Red Tulip Manic Panic color. It doesn’t come out the bright color on the container, but the color shows up in the sun and looks like I’ve got some awesome burgandy highlights.
If you want really bright, vivid color, you might want to bleach your hair to a lighter blond. If you do that, wait a couple of weeks before putting the Manic Panic color in. Also, reds are really hard to keep looking good so you might want to invest in some shampoo and conditioner for specifically red colored hair.

Yeah, you might need to re bleach it, talk to your hairdresser first.
with red it doesnt really matter, because it is so bright,
i tried it on my hair when it was light borwn and it came out quite nice,
but if you want a really really vibrant red, you should bleach it
Yes! I used that EXACT color in my dair and I had to bleach it. If you don’t it’ll look like some gross weirdish auburn color.
