I can remember with I had anxiety all the time through middle and high school. I already knew about meditation and self hypnosis, and I applied them sporadically, but not as much as I should. I never received medication, but I new something like a pill wouldn't treat the root cause of the issue.

That's why I think meditation is helpful, because it both calms the mind and calms the body. However, it doesn't get to the core issue at hand, like self hypnosis does. In order to relieve anxiety naturally and safely, you need to find why you have anxiety, or why you believe you should have anxiety. In understanding this, you can free yourself from the shackles of fear and worry.
