Is it safe in terms of will it hurt you physiologically, yes. You could safely take 6 or more milligrams a day without affecting your health although that is a bit much. Is it safe from an abuse potential standpoint? Not really. The drug lasts so long that if you take it 2 times a day 12 hours apart it should keep your anxiety at bay, but the effects will diminish with time and you will have to drive your dose higher and higher to get the same effect. Eventually it won’t do anything for you.
