Because i have both hypersensitivity and social anxiety, and i feel that it is a bad combination for me in terms of social functioning. Is there anyone else out there like this?

hypersensitivity and social anxiety can go hand in hand. Social Anxiety sufferers usually suffer other forms of anxiety as well that make up social anxiety as a whole.
Try CBT and consult your doctor to try and get the right treatment. Social anxiety can be overcome, you just have to teach your brain to forget its bad habits.
I’m a little like that, I’m learning to manage. Use the sensitivity to your advantage, you can pick up more than other people, but don’t let it overwhelm you, or dictate your decisions. Strick a balance between empathy and rationality.
Yeah, this sounds bad. There are anti-anxiety medications that could probably help both problems.
Yes they can accompany each other. Personally i am like this and i have known a lot of people like this. To combat this people usually stay away from emotional situations and try to make some think of themselves such that society might look up-to them.
