There are several anti anxiety medications your sister can ask her doctor about. There are also some very effective anti depressants which control anxiety well.
Your sister needs to get her doctor to refer her to a psychiatrist; that way she can get a proper diagnosis, and that offers the best chance of her getting the right medication.
A psychiatrist will also be up to date with any new medications that might help; general doctors are not so good with this and they also have less sophistication when it comes to deciding on the actual dosages.
Urge your sister to get the referral to a psychiatrist; there’s no stigma attached, just point out to her that this is her best chance of finding a medication that will turn her life around!
I have a relative that takes both Xanax and klonopin. The only thing that I’ve noticed lately when he is on klonopin is he zones out and gets really sleepy. He reminds me of Anna Nicole when she was on drugs, and that worries me a lot! He said that klonopin really stopped the anxiety/panic attacks though. Xanax helps to control his mood a bit.
LEXAPRO LEXAPRO LEXAPRO 10 mg. it’s great. the xanax is habit forming and only for situational anxiety like getting on a plane.
