I suffer from severe anxiety and my doctor has prescribed me with a med called Escitalopram (or Cipralex) depending on how bad your anxiety is you may want to consider going to the doctors and seeing about that. It stopped me having attacks within a couple of days and now I can do all the things I used to without fear of having an attack and the embarasment that goes with it.

Hope that helps and its good to remember there is nothing wrong with you phisicly and it really is just in your head.

I used to suffer with Anxiety and thankfully I never had full blown attacks. However when I felt Anxious I would write down a list of the things that were making me anxious then add in why it was making me anxious. I usually found that most of the things that were causing the attack were not important and the anxiety was just there... This made it calm down and eventually it was gone. Making lists and organising my time better turned out to be the solution.
