I’m about 240 lbs. and never taken a xanax before what would be the best dosage to take and how long would I be messed up for? Is .25 mg the least potent.

I recently was watching a video on Youtube because I am thinking about getting dread locks. The video was showing people of all races getting there extensions. It looked so much easier than backcombing and letting the dreads form. How much would it cost and where could his be done in Orlando?

I suffer from occasional heart palpitations but this morning it was really bad. I am planning on going to the doctor but maybe someone has some insight on what it could be. And how do you deal with that.
I don’t take any medications. Don’t drink or smoke. Overall a healthy person.

Question says it all. I been scared of hypnotism since I first learned the word. I believe a person should control him/her self their whole entire life. No one should control you with words. So they shouldn’t control it under their own will. Then I discovered it was nothing but superstition and just your own daydreaming. However, what gave people the idea that hypnosis is similar to mind control a bit? Just wondering. Thank you!

How long does it take before a chemical imbalance shows up. Can someone go to sleep and have a chemical imbalance the next day or does it slowly show up? And if someone who has it in their genes can they be a joyful and happy person and then they randomly become depressed because of a chemical imbalance? How does this imbalance work?

Sometimes if my big dog is crated by the couch and I have my little dog on my lap, the big dog will start acting like he’s getting a panic attack(panting, whining, barking, digging at his bed). Is he really having a panic attack or just a temper tantrum for want of attention?
I was trimming the little dog’s nails and didn’t want to have to keep an eye on the big one while performing a tedious task.
OK. I’m sick of people treating me like I’m neglecting my dogs by reading one paragraph that I wrote. I SAID I was clipping the small dogs nails and didn’t want the big one getting in my face during the task! He gets plenty of me time otherwise. Stop acting like I’m a mean "dog mommy".

I’m terrified of flying, and have recently taken to having a couple drinks in the airport bar before my plane takes off. I’m flying tomorrow with my family, and therefore won’t be able to go to the bar beforehand. My mom is going to give me some of her anti-anxiety medication for the flight. She said it might make me tired, but what other effects does this medication have? Will I actually not be scared of flying? I just don’t really understand how it calms you so things you’re terrified of don’t matter. Any answers are greatly appreciated! Happy belated Thanksgiving!

I’m going to college and working part time, and I’m so stressed! Not to mention I struggle with social anxiety, which adds to the stress, which in turn adds to the anxiety. The stress is wearing me out and sometimes I feel like I’m about ready to have a nervous breakdown. Any good ideas for dealing with the stress?
