Hi,I have suffered from anxiety for a long time. Someone suggested hypnotherapy but it is so expensive! Im not looking for a quick fix..I know Ive a lot to work through. The thing is, I really want to get better. I really want my life to be normal again.
So Im willing to give anything a try really.
If anyone has any suggestions,Id be so grateful.
If anyone has gone to a Hypnotherapist for anxiety or anything else, could you please tell me if it works?
Thank you all for listening.
Any help would be appreciated.

My anxiety/panic disorder and agoraphobia are making me miserable. How have other people gotten through this?
Say you go to the doctor because you have been feeling nervous for some reason. You don’t know why, and you can’t think of anything that should be making you nervous. The doctor puts you on some medication for the anxiety. How long do you stay on the medication usually? Do you take it indefinitely, or do you take it for a while and then come off of it to see if you still need it?
This happens infrequently, always when my body is asleep but I am just half awake. Tonight, however, the twitching was preceded by asevere bout of restless leg. And then what felt like a seizure. I couldn’t move, and I began to hallucinate. I literally started screaming.
I am currently on an anxiety medication. Could that have caused allthis? Or is my family history of schizophrenia finally catching up with me?
I know that excercise helps alot. I have tried conventional medicines on and off for years and I’m very sensitive to the side effects. I suffer with the side effects and there is no real change I just become numb and zombie like. I have had weight gain, sexual disfunction, seizures and a host of other problems when I have tried conventional medicine. I have also tried talk therapy but that only goes so far if it’s not situational deppresstion.
I can’t get an appointment with my MD for 5 weeks! I want to get going. I am working out but need something to help flush the fat.
What is the difference between regular depression/anxiety and borderline personality disorder?
I’m working on a project for my Psychology class, and the only movie I can think of off the top of my head is "What about Bob?" I’d rather use a movie that isn’t a comedy. But whatever help you can give me is appreciated.
i used to masturbate 6 years ago, and i’m suffering from hypertension . i’m 22 years old.
I have all the early signs of an eating disorder (constantly checking my weight, always looking at my body in the mirror, not eating any candy or anything unhealthy) and I’m really scared that I’m going to become anorexic or something. How do I keep myself from hurting myself? By the way I’m already on the low side of average for weight and people tell me I’m skinny but I think I look fat.
I get really bad test anxiety and i’m terrifed to take the SAT or the ACT, my PSAT score wasn’t so hot, what can i do? I know study and just be well prepared but what else can i do?
