Anxiety And Panic Alternative Remedies

Anxiety and a natural sense of fear can have a purpose in our lives, as in a situation where we are concerned for our safety such as crossing a busy street
and avoiding a car from hitting us, or making sure our child is safe while playing.
But when anxiety causes us to go into a cycle of fear and worry on a consistent
basis whenever we have to face a stressful or important situation, severe anxiety can become a debilitating force in our lives.  If you are looking for natural anxiety help, then please read continue reading.

When we are faced with a fear about something in our surroundings or say when we are in a building that is on fire or in a potentially dangerous situation, there are some very exciting simple, but effective techniques I want to share with you that can help to cure your anxiety symptoms without using any medication.

What are anxiety disorder symptoms and how to we define anxiety and panic attacks?  Anxiety is the reaction our body has as a way of dealing with an event or situation in order to try to cope with what our mind is telling us that is going on around us.   But in many cases normal anxiety turns into an unusually high level of intensity and it can trigger the body to go into a series of physical symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, sweating, intense fear and panic.  It can become what is known as pathological anxiety.

Pathological anxiety can manifest in many ways with a tendency to be expressed in a number of ways such as these:

Generalized anxiety disorder;
Various phobias;
An obsessive-compulsive disorder;
Sense of panic;
Post-traumatic stress.

These symptoms are known to affect approximately 3 to 5% of the population  at one time or another of his or her life.

There are multiple causes for any of these anxiety attack symptoms and it may very well be that some people are more prone to anxiety attack, panic attack and depression than others are.  A hyper-anxious parent or teacher may trigger a child’s own anxiety and a person or child who has been in an abusive or neglectful environment can certainly factor in as a cause of anxiety disorders.  Often in can be a psychological trauma during adulthood that can also be a triggering event.

But anxiety attack and panic attack symptoms can be cured or at least controlled without any medication.  There are techniques that can be learned and mastered using breathing exercises to control your own breathing patterns which can, in turn, help tremendously to bring down the level of anxiety in the body.

You can also use visualization methods to bring your mind to quickly focus on a relaxed and calming environment wherever you may be and it will train your mind
to change your focus and change your state, both mentally and physically.  Think about when you may be upset and angry and just try to smile for a moment even though you don’t feel happy.   Continue to smile and you will find before long that
you cannot really feel the anger as much as you did.  It is telling the body the message that you are happy just simply from the act of physically making a smile and using the muscles that you would use automatically if you were to smile without thinking about it.

Also, consider studying one of the many methods or varieties of meditation.  Meditation is known for producing a general well-being and feeling of calm as well
as reducing stress in the mind and the body and has tremendous physical benefits as well as helping treating anxiety.
